About us
Alison Burgess MCIPD INLPTA Master Practitioner

20 years of varied and challenging experiences have resulted in a unique and eclectic view on managing and improving performance. I had an early career as an economist and auditor which helps me appreciate and apply a logical approach to problem solving and goal achievement.
In the early 90’s I found my passion for Learning and Development, working as a manager and consultant in a variety of European businesses. I understand and work with individual differences, enabling people to be and deliver at their best. I have worked for companies in the Financial, Technology, Retail, FMCG and Professional Services sectors, identifying how simple changes to working patterns and management approaches can have a significant effect on individual performance and business success.
I have been a coach and mentor for over a decade in business and on a 1:1 private basis. In recent years I have been working as an NLP Business Practitioner and INLPTA Master practitioner in Coaching & Counselling, as well as working with individuals on a 1:1 basis using clinical hypnotherapy (Dip H (CECCH)).

It has always been my view, that we are only as successful as the people we develop to enable use to achieve our business goals. With this in mind, I have run numerous management programmes, which enhance individual and team technical expertise by adding the management dimension.
Having worked predominately within the field of Organisational Development, within private and public sector and Charity/Voluntary, there are many aspects of management development common to all. What is key that the business drivers and political influences must be acknowledged and embraced in any development programme.
My company Adcal Human Resources works with small and medium sized companies, developing tailored training solutions, which focus on ensuring companies, see a return on their investment of staff time and money, whilst achieving the training outcome agreed. A no nonsense approach is combined with practical application and efficient use of time.
